Project Sales Engineer – West Houston Office, Texas
Samson Controls, Inc.,USA, subsidiary of SAMSON AG, Germany, is a world leader in control valve and accessory manufacturer and supplier, is currently accepting resumes for the above-referenced position.
Qualifications:
University Graduate Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering
5-10 Years of Control & Instrumentation (Control Valves, On-Off Valves, Regulators, Field Instrumentations) in Process Industry related experience would be an added advantage. Fresh graduate will also be considered.
Work experience in EPCs, Process Plants will also be considered.
The qualified applicants will be responsible for:
- Responsible for International Project Sales among EPCs & Endusers in Houston area.
- Will be assigned for managing Project Accounts of EPCs & Endusers in Houston area.
- Responding to customer’s (EPCs/Endusers) project/product inquiries, preparation of proposals and special quotations/BIDs developments.
- Review of customer’s specifications & applications and give supports.
- Control valves and actuators sizing & instrumentation selection and techno-commercial offer – BID preparations.
- Sales and Liaison with international customers & EPCs world-wide.
- Presentations at EPCs and End-users on periodic manner and maintain the accounts.
All qualified candidates will be energetic self-starters with excellent communication skills and the desire to achieve challenging goals and objectives. Computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, Autocad and other general office programs are required.

Technical Support/Inside Sales/Product Specialist
2 Positions - Baytown, Texas
The qualified applicants will be responsible for:
- Supporting our Outside Salesforce and industrial clients.
- Providing technical expertise, applications review and product information and selection.
- Providing salesforce and customers with pricing quotations and proposals.
- Presenting applications and product information at training seminars.
- Order entry and processing
- Reviewing customers’ specifications and responding to their inquiries.
- Control valves and actuators sizing, and instrumentation selection.
- Liaison with the technical and sales support teams of our German-based group of companies.
All qualified candidates will be energetic self-starters with excellent communication skills and the desire to achieve challenging goals and objectives. A degree/diploma in the instrumentation, chemical, mechanical or related field and computer skills in Word, Excel and other general office programs are required. Previous experience in a similar environment or a plant would be an asset. Knowledge of the German language would be an asset but is not required.
Outside Sales, Houston Ship Channel Area – Baytown, Texas
The qualified applicants will be responsible for:
- Maintain established accounts and develop new business opportunities in the Houston Ship Channel area
- Provide industrial clients with on-site application information and support, quotations and product information
All qualified candidates will be energetic self-starters with excellent communication skills and the desire to achieve challenging goals and objectives. A degree/diploma in the instrumentation, chemical, mechanical or related field, as well as a minimum of 2 – 5 years of experience within the industry, is required. Computer skills in Word, Excel and other general office programs are also required.
Outside Technical Sales – Louisiana
